NMT v2 cortical surface

nmt-v2-cortical-surface.bin contains the left and right pial surfaces from the NIMH Macaque Template v2 symmetric atlas. It stores an 8-byte little-endian header (uint32 vertex_count, uint32 index_count), followed by float32 XYZ positions and uint32 triangle indices.

Compressed variant

nmt-v2-cortical-surface.q16.bin.gz is the same mesh with positions quantized to uint16 over the global [min, max] extent (max error 0.0006 mm) and gzipped: header <u32 vertex_count, u32 index_count, f32 min, f32 max>, then uint16 XYZ, then uint32 indices. ~1.0 MB vs 2.9 MB. The browser inflates it with DecompressionStream; the raw .bin is kept as the fallback for browsers without it. Regenerate both from the same source if the mesh changes.
